Vupoint Digital Cameras Class Action Investigation

This is a paid posting by the law firm of Gallo & Associates.

California consumer attorneys are considering filing a class action against Vupoint Solutions, Inc. and Vupoint product retailers for selling unacceptably bad cameras and for misrepresenting the quality and specifications of those cameras. Attorneys believe that Vupoint and certain retailers misrepresented certain Vupoint cameras as being lighter and smaller than they really are, and that Vupoint and retailers misled consumers as to the number of mega-pixels in the image sensors of these cameras. Attorneys also believe these cameras take such bad pictures that the cameras are practically useless, in violation of Vupoint's legal obligation to deliver a product of merchantable quality.

The investigation is focused on but is not limited to sales of Vupoint's DC-C310-VP digital camera (marketed as a 6.0 mega-pixel camera) and Vupoint's DC-C210-VP digital camera (marketed as a 3.2 mega-pixel camera). Most sales are believed to have been made over the internet through such sites as YouCanSave.com and other internet stores.

I bought the camera from overstock.com. They advertised a 6.0 mega pixel camera. I bought it and when I looked at the pictures they looked like crap. Ive seen 2.0 mega pixel cell phones with better pics than this camera.
