Ski-Doo Snowmobile Explosion Hazard

The maker of Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Bombardier Recreational Products U.S. Inc., of Sturtevant, WI, has recalled about 400 snowmobiles due to the risk of explosion. The potential for explosion could result from sparking in the fuel tank when it is partially filled with gasoline at a low vapor pressure and the engine is left idling, occurring in cold and dry weather conditions.

The models being recalled are the 2005 Expedition TUV 600 H.O. SDI, 2007-2008 Skandic SWT V-800, and the 2008 Skandic SUV 600 H.O. SDI.
