Class action status has been granted to a lawsuit filed against Orkin on behalf of tens of thousands of Floridians who have had a contract with Orkin since March 9, 1995. The suit alleges deceptive and unfair trade practices and claims that the company defrauded the plaintiffs by claiming that pest control treatments had been made, and then reneged on guarantees of re-inspection or re-treatment services.
