Nissan Infiniti G35 2005 Defective Brakes

If you have experienced premature brake replacement (brake pads, rotors and/or calipers) on your 2005 G35, you may have a claim in connection with a putative class action against Nissan North America Inc. ("Nissan"). Nissan designs, manufacturers and sells automobiles, including the Infiniti G35 ("G35"). G35 model years 2003 through 2004 had defective brake assemblies which resulted in Nissan amending its warranty for the 2003 and 2004 model years to cover brake pad and brake rotor replacement for the first three (3) years or 36,000 miles.

Nissan Infiniti G35 Brake Defect

The suit alleges that model year 2005 G35s are also equipped with defective brakes, due to these defective parts, G35s manifest significant squealing when the brake pedal is applied and premature brake wear. These defects are potentially dangerous, as they can cause the braking system components to become severely worn and damaged, and may lead to a complete failure of the braking system.

While the Basic Warranty covers the braking system for 48 months or 60,000 miles, Nissan denies requested warranty repairs claiming the defect's symptoms are caused by "normal wear and tear" and consumers have been required to pay for the repairs of the brake assemblies or there component parts.
