A class action lawsuit has been filed against Macy's East, Inc. The suit alleges that the department store has engaged in racial profiling for shoplifting, and is seeking $100 million dollars in damages. The suit claims that non-white shoppers were subject to false accusations, wrongful detention, searches and confiscation of personal property.
