I have been taken for a fool on a scam that as smart as i am should've seen coming. But you know the old saying when you need something so bad you tend to turn blind to what is really going on. I was emailed an approval letter for a 10,000 loan. I don't recall signing an application with them but i do know that there are third party affiliates that do share info. Along with the email was the Loan Agreement. It was very irresistible. Loan $10,000, pay back in 36 months at 4% making the monthly payments 197.54. However, there were 3 stipulations of which one needed to be chosen by me. The reason for this is that some sub prime companies will need some type of financial reassurance (like bonding) so that they know that they will be repaid in good faith. Below i will list it from 1-3.
1. I needed to have 870 to turn over to the Brokerage Manager before any loan funds would be released. I could use a clear title loan, but the auto had to be 2005 or newer
2. Have a co-signer that would be able to do the above one.
3 Pay out the whole 870.00 to the company.

Realistically, i did make a comment after that. I said if i had 870, i surely wouldn't be here applying for a loan now would i? I have to admit i was a bit hasty. Later that same day i get another email stating that ARCO would pay 570 and all i would need to come up with is 300.00. I did tell him before that call that i surely had no money but could ask extended family members for help, which i did. My parent was the one who helped. But before they would go there they wanted the name and number to speak to the company and get questions answered and to release some doubt.

I got a email again this time from the Brokerage Manager no email links, please ARCO giving me instructions on how the transfer of monies would take place. It was going to be person to person, which i did recognize as a red flag and asked the store manager if she could give me a half hour than call back. But he insisted on getting his point across and was not going let up, i listened. I asked the loan rep while at the store for the name of the insurance company, name of broker and their phone number. He was a bit hesitant, but he did see things my way after. They were so slick that the person i would put as receiver on the western union form was a fake. In good faith they said that when i do receive my funds i am to change that fake name to her real name. In the event i do not get my funds i get a refund. I thought that was cool and did it. After making the payment i called the rep ASAP and notified him of the payment. He assured me that the loan funds would be in my hands with in 24 hours via courier. The next day, after more than 24 hours i email the rep and the response i got was the underwriter got the documents to them late in the afternoon so therefore the 24 hours start after the underwriter is done.
Another day and its the same ol SHIT. I tried to email them their domain kicks my emails back, i call the number i have been calling for over a week and the line is busy. It has been this way since September 18, 2008. I have not had any luck in making contact with them. So i called Western Union to get a refund and the receiver got the money the day i sent it over. I did notify the western union people that i was scammed and fraud by an entity that is using your business to make it happen. I gave her all the info that the next victim would have done, to put it to a stop and they did. I filed my IC3form on the web and notified all 3 credit agencies of a fraud alert for 90 days. I went online and looked for the BBB for the district that they were at and filed a complaint. the FBI here was also notified.

I just went on the internet website called rippedoff.com and complaintsboard.com and gave my story and when i later went back to my site to see if any readers had saw it, i noticed that my story was altered in so many ways i cried. My personal information was put out for all to see such as my rare medical problem and my treatment my 3 year old daughter, fiance a friend of the family was mentioned in the article. Things in that article only a person that visits me, knows me personally would call me from time to time.

This company went too far, all i wanted was my 300 and the 24 fee for western union back. They upped the stakes by not conducting their business ethically and morally like a white collar worker should! how can people like this sleep at night knowing that they just took food out of the mouth of babes or possibly caused another family to become homeless.

Once i start something. i finish it, once i make a decision i never change my mind. I am very strong in my beliefs of what is right and just. I even did my own investigation. It seems that the owner/CEO of this company is also a CEO/Owner of three other ones.

1. Arco Group Finance & Investment Group LLC
2. Sterling America Group LLC
3. Signet Life Financial
4. Green Living Finance and Investment

One more thing, The Insurance company that they deal with is inn Canada and they are called Sterling Insurance.
