3 people die in fiery car accident in Washington

. By
Seatac, WAThree people were killed in a car accident in Washington after their vehicle reportedly ran off the road and eventually burst into flames.

Police who arrived at the scene reported that the driver of the car lost control and hit trees and a pole before erupting into flames, NWCN.com reports.

One witness told the website that the auto accident was "like tires squealing and then a big boom and then everything in my house went black."

Sergeant John Urquhart said the three victims in the car were the only casualties in the incident and would likely be identified in the next three days.

According to Urquhart, the car was reportedly driving south at a high speed on 8th Avenue South when it crossed the center line, hit a utility pole, drove over brush, struck a tree and then crashed into a building. It wasn't until the car hit the building that it reportedly caught on fire.

The sergeant also added that although speed was a factor, there was no evidence if the car accident was a result of area street racing, which has reportedly been a problem.ADNFCR-2533-ID-19375959-ADNFCR
