Unlawful early termination fee.Submitted 2010-02-05Defendant: Cell Phone Companies (early termination fees) After more than 2 years I requested to cancel my account. They told me I couldn't without paying an early termination fee. I told them that after the first year, I was on a month-to-month. They got nasty and threatened to ruin my credit if I didn't pay, stating that I'd renewed my contract. This is a lie.
