I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes/Diabetic Ketoacidosis after taking Seroquel for 8 months or more.

Defendant: Seroquel (increased incidence of diabetes)

I now have Type 1 Diabetes. I was researching Seroquel when I started getting sick months ago and knew it was Seroquel causing it. My doctor made me cut back on the dose, not stop and I was near a diabetic coma on 12/01/2008 and was sent directly to ICU at St. Vincents Hospital. I am 5'8", was a healthy 130. I now weigh 100lbs. I lost 30 lbs in less than one month. I now test (finger prick) 5 times a day and take insulin shots 2 times per day. This is horrible.
