I am a resident of a women's homeless shelter and I have been discriminated against because of my religion.

I have been a target of abuse. A former resident has moved to another shelter because of the discrimination geared towards her by a board member of the same shelter.

I am forced to attend chapel services even though I have told the shelter this is against my beliefs.

I am not allowed to participate in religious holidays pertaining to my faith, but I am forced to participate in theirs or get exited.

I am not allowed to eat the foods called for by my religion. There have been times, I have gone without food for several days because of this policy.
