Failure to provide a safe environment for 200 mobile homes.Submitted 2008-03-19Defendant: Rickert Properties, Inc The owner of our 'Park' refuses to hire a security guard or have the resident managers help in our safety. Almost half of our community has been robbed,burglarized,vandalized, etc. The managers claim that the Sheriffs Dept is responsible but the Sheriff says NO, that this is private property and they only respond after a crime is committed to write reports(sometimes) and have refused to respond at all to callers. I have personally been affected by the stress of roving gangs and have had to consult my doctors for medical help as it causes high blood pressure and congestive heart failure in me. -- Florida |
