The convergence amps in the TV unit blow about about every 2-3 years.

Submitted 2008-03-13

Defendant: Panasonic

In the summer of 2001, I paid over $2,000 for a Panasonic rear projection TV. About 2 1/2 years into owning it, the convergence amps blew out. Parts and labor cost me $350. Two years later, it happened again. Price went up to $400. In FEB 2008, the amps blew out for the third time. I'm sick and tired of Panasonic's lack of customer service and inability to own up to their manufacturing defects.
