State Farm neglected to allow me to drop an insurance claim

Defendant: State farm

My motorcycle came up missing. I filed a police report thinking it was stolen, and filed a claim with State Farm. I learned that my ex-girlfriend (we had an argument and her grandmother was the lienholder on the loan for the motorcycle) and one of her male friends took it. I contacted State Farm to drop my claim. And they did not drop it. Because they did not drop the claim, I am now being charged with Fraud. How can this happen when I tried to avoid it by notifying them that there were circumstances that I was not aware of at the time the claim was filed ? Now I am in jail over it.
