Mega-retailer Target's 'Pet Essentials' brand chicken jerky strips poisonded my healthy 2-year old, long haired chihuahua.

Defendant: Chinese Defective Products (dangerous products)

Though there seems to be no legal precedent or provision, the loss of my pet has and continues to devastate, sadden and depress me. Beyond the expense of purchasing my dog and the standard, routine vet care he has received in two years, the costs related to 'round the clock' hospitalization have been quite high, running into the thousands. It may be that I consult a grief counselor through my private physician.
