Target TrimStep Toning Shoe False Advertising

New York, NY: Target TrimStep "Toning" Shoe may be facing allegations of consumer fraud regarding advertising that claims the shoes have health benefits when they may actually cause injury or make existing injuries worse.

Target Corporation allegedly markets its toning footwear with claims that the shoes are designed to “encourage muscle toning in the legs; improve posture; reduce stress on feet, knees and back; and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.”

The company may be facing a class action lawsuit over the claims, as Target has not proven that TrimStep in fact does provide health benefits, which would make its advertising claims false, misleading and deceptive to the general public.
