Bix Produce Company Roma Food Enterprises

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the food suppliers regarding contaminated lettuce that made customers sick at various Taco John restaurants in the United States. The lawsuit was filed in Federal Court in Sioux Falls and alleges Bix Produce Company and Roma Food Enterprises were negligent in the handling of food.

In late 2006, there was a series of E. coli outbreaks that were linked back to the taco chain. In December, Taco John's International dropped Bix Produce as a supplier in the wake of that outbreak.
