City of St. Paul

In a class action lawsuit, the City of St. Paul discriminated against minority, especially black, business owners. The suit claims that minority-owned businesses seldom won bids for contracts with the City of St. Paul as compared to their white counterparts. As well, the City failed to contact them about bid opportunities and when they were contacted they had inadequate notice and hindered a timely or competitive bid.
