Ram Publishing

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the publishing company alleging phone book advertising contract fraud. The lawsuit was filed in Erie County Court and is seeking damages against Ram Publishing and owner Robert Melzer of Madison, Ohio. The lawsuit claims dozens of Erie County businesses signed contracts with Ram Publishing sales agents to run ads in the new Erie County Yellow & White Pages.

Ram Publishing cashed all the checks, but failed to actually publish the phone book. The suit seeks the return of the money paid for advertising as well as for attorney's fees, punitive damages, and damages resulting from the loss of advertising.
