Preliminary $7.1 Million Settlement Reached in Afexa Class Action

The manufacturer of Cold FX, namely Afexa, has reached a preliminary agreement in the class action securities lawsuit it currently faces.

If approved, the $7.1 million settlement, which represents about half of the $14 million investors lost due to inflated financial results released in 2006, would end the lawsuit filed in 2007.

Afexa, based in Edrmonton, Canada, was ranked as one of the fastest growing small companies registered on the Toronto Stock Exchange in the mid-2000s.
