Complaints allege that the company is in violation of the Electronic Funds Transfer Act and California statutory and common law. The suit claims that the company fails to provide necessary information, such as an address and telephone number, so that its customers can easily report erroneous financial transactions, that PayPal unlawfully freezes consumers' accounts, and that PayPal fails to fully compensate consumers damaged by erroneous financial transactions.
