Ford Motor Co.A lawsuit filed in 2000 has been granted class action status by the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, OH. The certified class action alleges thousands of Ohioans bought or leased 1999 and 2000 Mercury Villagers with throttle body assemblies that can leave gas pedals stuck in acceleration. Nearly 60 Villager owners complained about balky gas pedals in complaints filed with the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration as of 2004. U.S. District Judge Susan Dlott refused to admit owners in other states to join this class action suit.Register your Ford Motor Co.
