State of Nevada and Clark County

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the state of Nevada and Clark County for allegedly failing to protect abused and neglected children in the child welfare system. The lawsuit seeks system-wide reform to prevent the death of children who have died from abuse and neglect at the hands of their parents, foster parents, or other caregivers while under the watch of the Clark County Department of Family Services.
