Micron Inc.

A lawsuit seeking class action status claims that Idaho consumers, businesses and governmental agencies paid more for computers due to price-fixing by Micron Inc. and seven other companies that make memory chips. The suit alleges that from 1998 through June 2002, the companies conspired to restrain supply of dynamic random access memory - DRAM chips - to drive prices up. Micron has about 10,000 employees in Idaho, making it the state's largest private employer.
