Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)

In a class action lawsuit filed in D.C. Superior Court, KFC is accused of using partially hydrogenated oil, a.k.a. trans fat in many of its foods. The lawsuit is asking that KFC discontinue using trans fats or at least post signs in its restaurants alerting customers to its use and endangering their health. Trans fat is known to be more harmful than saturated fat because it raises one's bad cholesterol (LDL) while lowering the body's good cholesterol (HDL).
