Volkswagen

A class action lawsuit has been certified claiming that the front-end spoilers on 1999-2002 Jettas have a faulty design which causes them to catch on parking lot curb stops which can yank the spoiler off the bumper. Curb stops range in height from 5 to 6 inches, while the clearance on the spoilers is only 4 to 6 inches. Volkswagen initially paid for the damaged spoilers, but when numbers skyrocketed, they claimed it wasn't covered under warranty.
