Ivy Lawn

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the company alleging its employees informed grave robbers of valuables buried with loved ones. Several families have come forward to claim that valuable mementos have been taken from inside private niches at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura, CA.

John Herrera put an urn with his wife Kathy's ashes along with figurine mementos, a silver necklace, and two diamond wedding rings. David and Barbara Austin put their 26-year-old daughter, Holly's ashes along with figurine mementos, a gold garnet ring, and an irreplaceable oval gold locket dated 1918 with a coat of arms. Both families claim the items were stolen by grave robbers.
