Immigration and Customs Enforcement Lawsuit

Government officials have arrested nearly 400 people in the largest immigration raid in US history. The Agriprocessors meatpacking plant employees have filed a lawsuit claiming the government agencies have violated their constitutional rights and accusing officials of artibrary and indefinite detention.

The lawsuit also claims immigrant workers' rights to consult with attorneys has been violated. Lawyers involved in the case also concerned that their clients may be transferred out of state, making it difficult for the detainees to confer with their attorneys.
