With the dramatic rise in gas prices, many people are buying so-called "gas savers" - products that allegedly give better gas mileage - from magnets to fuel additives.
However, independent studies by Consumer Reports, the Environmental Protection Agency and MSU professors, have shown that none of these products produce significant fuel savings.
