Federal Bureau of Investigation

Hundreds of Veteran Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) supervisors who direct major investigations into terrorism and other crimes have filed age discrimination complaints with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that may result in a class action suit against the FBI. A policy change currently requires supervisors with five or more years experience to transfer to headquarters in Washington, D.C. Veteran supervisors will either have to move or remain in their respective areas as field agents and out of management with a pay cut.
