Fayette County school board faced with sex abuse class action lawsuit

The Fayette County school board is facing a class action lawsuit that dates back to the 1970s, alleging sexual abuse.

In a similar lawsuit, Carol Lynne Maner won a $3.9 million verdict against the school board when a jury found they had ignored her allegations of sexual abuse by six employees of the Beaumont Junior High School and Lafayette High School in the 1970s and 80s.
