Canada Health has received nine complaints of adverse reactions to people who have taken the controversial supplement EMPowerplus.

The drug is being sold to treat serious disorders, such as bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, panic attacks, attention deficit disorder, schizophrenia, autism, Tourette's syndrome, fibromyalgia and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Truehope Nutritional Support Limited non-medical employees selling EMPowerplus have allegedly encouraged customers to stop using prescription drugs for their psychiatric ailments, and use EMPowerplus instead, or in addition to their doctor-prescribed medications.
