Disney DVD Battery Recall



Over 100,000 Disney DVD battery packs recalled due to potential fire dangers. The rechargeable battery packs, from Memcorp, have had reports of overheating and catching fire. In some cases, the problem resulted in children's injuries and property damage.

The Disney DVD players come with designs of Mickey Classic Cartoon, Mickey Mouse, Power Rangers, Princess, or Fairy Flowers. The Disney DVD players, with a three-inch screens, were sold for $70-$130 at various stores across the U.S.

Parents and children are advised to discontinue use of the DVD player until a replacement battery is received.
