Columbia, OH: (Mar-06-07) Clay Greenplate was killed in a car accident after a head on collision with Martha Miller. Miller's tests confirmed that her blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit when her sport utility vehicle crossed into the path of Greenplate's vehicle. Miller was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of 34-year-old Greenplate. Regina Greenplate, Clay's widow, has been awarded $1.3 million as a wrongful-death settlement and will receive more than $500,000 of the settlement from Martha Miller.
