A class action lawsuit was submitted to the Tel Aviv District Court on behalf of disgruntled customers against the three cellular telephone operators. The case claims the companies charge for more air time than customers actually use in calls from cellular phones to Bezeq lines. The lawsuit alleges the companies charge for air time until the cell phone user hangs up, even if the Bezeq user has hung up previously, instead of considering the call complere as soon as either party hangs up. This violates the terms of the companies' licenses, which state explicitly that they must stop charging for air time as soon as either party hangs up.
