Washington, DC: A recall has been announced for Celerite Slimming Tea sold in 25 tea bag (2 g each) boxes made in China. The recall affects all lots sold wihin the past 12 months by Shaping Beauty, Inc., Huntingdon Valley, PA,.

The product, manufactured by H &S GMP Factory, Kunming, China, was marketed without an FDA approved NDA/ANDA: the product was found to contain undeclared sibutramine.

It is estimated that 257 boxes of 25 teabags each were sold nationwide.
