B.C. Ferries Corporation

A lawsuit has been filed against B.C. Ferries alleging negligence when the BC ferry, Queen of the North, sank south of Prince Rupert in northern British Columbia. Ninety-nine passengers and 50 crew members had to abandon ship, leaving all their personal belongings and vehicles on board. Two people are presumed dead. The lawsuit is seeking class action status.
