Allied Steel Buildings

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the company for allegedly sending unsolicited faxes. The lawsuit was filed in Madison County Circuit Court and claims Allied Steel Buildings did not obtain prior express permission before sending unsolicited fax advertisements in violation of the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The complaint states that Allied Steel Buildings acted voluntarily, and under its own free will, and thus willfully sent, or caused to be sent, unsolicited advertisements by fax.

The class is seeking $500 for every violation and triple damages if the court determines that Allied willfully sent the advertisements.
