Accutane Heart and Liver Damage
A recent study has found the Accutane users have an elevated risk of heart attack or liver damage.
Accutane is already alleged to cause birth defects, and the FDA is now requiring users to register their use of the drug.
The new study found that Accutane can also increase levels of cholestrol, liver enzymes and blood fats (triglycerides) which can lead to heart attacks and liver damage.
Forty-four percent of patients taking Accutane developed high levels of triglycerides.
