Aaron's Furniture and Appliance Leasing Consumer Fraud Lawsuit Filed

Atlanta, GA: A consumer fraud class action lawsuit has been filed against Aaron’s Inc, alleging that the furniture leasing company breached its lease agreements by refusing to provide pay-off information to consumers and through other improper practices.

Aaron’s has 1,900 stores through which it leases furniture, appliances, and electronics to consumers. The lawsuit alleges that after a certain number of payments have been successfully completed, Aaron's claims the consumer will own the items.

The lawsuit claims that Aaron's employs unfair business practices, false advertising, and misrepresentations to induce customers to enter lease agreements that are not as favorable for the consumer as represented. The lawsuit also claims unjust enrichment.
