I am seriously considering closing my pool. I own a small campground in upstate NY. A pool is a nice item but very costly to maintain and even more costly now. I believe in access for the disabled but I have not had a disabled camper in the 8 years I have owned this campground. I believe if the new law would simply grandfather current pools and apply to newly installed or remodeled pools, this would be much better for us struggling businesses.

This torte attorney happy law will only hurt the public. What once was thought of as an enjoyable relaxing thing to do (swim in our condo's pool) is probably not going to be around long. What moron (Obama) passed such an idiot law? This will only go full circle. Cost to the owners to install, then cost to the owner for "accidents". come on, isn't it swim at your own risk? please can't there be some enjoyment that government keeps their blooming hands off of? I see swimming in public pools ruined for everyone and pools will close. Thanks Obama, how 'bout a round of golf, or swim in Hawaii or maybe a spot on David Letterman? Why the heck don't you just try to do something good for the majority? Idiot.
