All Saints Anglican Church

Attleboro, MA: (Aug-07-07) The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts brought charges against breakaway parish All Saints Anglican Church, alleging that the church improperly kept or used $200,000 when it left the diocese. The suit also involved issues concerning gay clergy and gay unions. In a settlement reached out of court, an agreement was entered into, in which All Saints Anglican Church agreed to return church funds and property. Though terms of the settlement were not disclosed, sources stated that both sides were pleased with the outcome of the lawsuit filed by the diocese to recover money and property it claimed was wrongfully taken by the dissident church.
